Expel Wayward Republicans from the Senate? (1 Viewer)

I'm an atheist, but OH MY GOD! There you are, inverting the logic. YES, people should be punished for transgressions, but we were pointing out that the Biden administration didn't think so, and therefore unfairly ignored property-damaging riots without any visible level of law enforcement.
If you don't see the relevance to this argument about "lawfare" - selective enforcement focused on Republicans in this case - then you are blind.
I'm pretty sure they do see the relevance as it's too obvious to miss, they would just rather desperately rather not talk about it

The punishing of BLM rioters is a matter for state/county governments not the federal government. What does the Biden administration have to with that?

"Lawfare" has now become an excuse to ignore crimes. Donald Trump is now seeking to prosecute FBI agents who investigated violent rioters. That sounds like "Lawfare".

BLM rioters did a number on DC during Trump's first inauguration.

You would certainly think so wouldn't you? And yet a number of national figures actively campaigned for rioters to be bailed out.

Yeah - and why not? When they got to the point where they were controlling entire swaths of cities, blocking out police and swat - what other resource is there? At some point you need at least the national guard, but Biden was soft on them and allowed these types of circumstances to continue for MONTHS at a time.

And they all beat the charges.
They didn't beat the charges. The corrupt Justice Department was on their side. Also consider the political persecution of the patriots on Jan6th. who were pursued for simply being near the Capital and the illegal demands of the Justice Department that all ATM and cellphone records be given to them.

During her 2020 campaign for president, which lasted for less than 11 months, Harris supported the bail fund that helped violent criminals get out of prison. As of Monday night, the website was running and accepting payments.

You sound proud ;)
Nah, just impressed with the defense. Draws a good comparison between them and the insurrectionists. You see, the Feds couldn't prove one of the most important aspects of the law. They couldn't positively identify them. Unlike the insurrectionists who posted videos and photographs of themselves committing the acts.

Why was it hard for them to positively identify them?

The left has more experience at committing and getting away with serious crime. They are smart and well rehearsed. I agree.
