Debating politics is not a game for the meek.

Once you publish your opinion you have invited criticism.

It is a national pastime among men to do this, without dwelling on it for months. If women want to participate they should not cry about it later.

The simple fact that Sel states that we don’t get along is evidence that to her, it is personal; it never occurred to me to feel anything about it one way or the other.

Now you're making it a sexist game. For the record you've never made me cry. I was simply saying that you are very belittling to me when I have tried to debate with the 'guys'. Yes, I take it very personally when someone attacks my intellectual capabilities. For I know I'm very smart, and a capable young women. I spent 10 yrs in a verbally abusive marriage and now I am free. I now know I am nothing what he had me believing myself to be.

Perhaps that is why I take it personally as well. If you are told daily that you are not very smart to hold simulating conversations with, and other things. You do tend to get gun shy, and very defensive. If you meant nothing by all your belittling comments, then fine. I’ll drop the subject and move on.

The bad part of the Internet you don't know peoples past. That is why I try not to make personal attacks to not hurt people. We never know what they are currently going through in the real life.

With that said, I'm sorry if I take things personally. I will not take anything you say again personally. To me you are simply a 'Man' who is here to hurt people with your tremendous vocabulary and political and religions knowledge. I'll stay out of your way when I can. Thank you for setting me straight. Look Joe, I'm sorry I attacked you in here, but you asked if it was you. I shouldn't have done it in the matter I did. However, it was stuff that was bothering me.
