Yes, I take it very personally when someone attacks my intellectual capabilities. For I know I'm very smart, and a capable young women. I spent 10 yrs in a verbally abusive marriage and now I am free. I now know I am nothing what he had me believing myself to be.

Perhaps that is why I take it personally as well. If you are told daily that you are not very smart to hold simulating conversations with, and other things. You do tend to get gun shy, and very defensive. If you meant nothing by all your belittling comments, then fine. I’ll drop the subject and move on.

The bad part of the Internet you don't know peoples past. That is why I try not to make personal attacks to not hurt people. We never know what they are currently going through in the real life.

Anyways, I realize what I wrote is very hurtful, and I'm so sorry. That is why happens with my claws are fully extended. Hence why I try and curb my emotions. I also didn't mean to spill the marriage part, but my emotions get going, and I speak without thinking sometimes. That is why often times when I get really quiet in a thread, that is becuase I dont' want to explode and hurt people.

Again, I'm sorry....I don't see you as that bad, you just always appeared to attack my mental abilities and I do get very defensive over that.

But now I know you didn't mean too, and I promise not to get upset anymore.

They’re not hurt by my attacks Dan.

They dish out considerably more than I do on a daily bases. What makes them different is that they also participate in the softer subjects, showing a side of themselves; not directly related to conflict.
