Sure they're people, lol, so am I -- and my FATNESS made me very "dysphoric" whenever I looked in the mirror. Distressed, you might say.
But I didn't ask the American Taxpayers to fund my journey with a weight loss drug, Tirzepatide, in fact my insurance didn't even cover it.
And I definitely wanted to change my body, but I had to do it at my own expense

There is a difference between the writings from the folks here with opposing viewpoints. Those in favor of Trump see him realistically. They see his flaws, They don't see him as perfect. They see him as an experienced businessman who knows how the world works and has some very good ideas for how to make our country work better. They mostly hate his tweets. They don't see him as an eloquent speaker. They see his inflated ego (pretty universal when it comes to politicians and other "important" men). They know he was/is a serial philanderer. One thing we can say about that is that he does marry his baby mommas. You can't say that about Harris' husband or Hunter Biden to name two men currently in the news. Why would you criticize Trump but not them? All those big name "ball" players you hold up as idols think it is a game to collect baby mommas. I think one year, one of them even had the gall to have them all sit for a group Christmas card. Pretty disgusting if you ask me. Any of you have an opinion on that? No. Right. It is only Trump's philandering you care to criticize. Idolize your philandering athletes and teach your boys to also. That makes people of the other side, hypocrites.

Which one of you has ever admitted to a problem with Kamala? Who even remembers that the Democrats were trying to figure out how to dump the "black" "woman" from the ticket without alienating their base. She was only the VP because Joe promised to select a black woman. He never promised to select the best candidate. He needed a "black" "woman". I'll bet you don't go into a hospital and ask for the "black" "woman" surgeon. YOU, for yourself, want the best surgeon even if it is the white male. It is INSANITY to pick someone as important as a VP by immutable characteristics. Who in their right mind does not want to hire the best candidate they can find? Come on, fess up all you hypocrites.

There was a time when the Democrats were essentially well meaning people who actually recognized societal problems and wanted to fix them. The problem was their "fixes" tended to be pollyannish and never solved problems but made them worse. Today, the Democrats walk in lock-step like zombies. If the Republicans did that, Nancy Pelosi would have lost every battle in Trumps first two years when the Republicans controlled all three branches. I don't know what has happened to ordinary Democrats. The downward spiral has been going on at least since Obama's first term but it accelerated with Trump got elected and everyone caught TDS. You don't even understand WHY this happened. Remember the "if it bleeds, it leads" mantra of the media. Well Trump made headlines and negative articles about Trump made splashy headlines and ratings SOARED and so they kept it up until even those who hadn't caught TDS believed ever single negative thing anyone ever posted about Trump. It didn't need to have modicum of truth. It didn't even have to be plausible. It just had to be negative and you all bought it hook line and sinker. And retweeted it to your friends. It could even be a LIE. Just look at Charlottesville for a very simple example. All you have to do is listen to what Trump said to know exactly who he was referring to. He even said specifically that it wasn't the white supremacists. But did that matter? NOT EVEN A LITTLE BIT. The media ran with the LIE for four years and you suckers all believe it to this day.

That is why there is no coming together. One side always believes the lie as long as it is negative about Trump. The others are willing to examine for truth.
