A possible scenario of the next 2 years

He'll lose because if he runs, he'll fracture the primary vote because everyone else will run also. DeSantis is good but he's not the street fighter that Trump is. And, running and losing to Trump will leave him badly placed to run in 2024.

And then there will be all the people who are pissed at him for abandoning the governorship which he just won. That leaves him in a really bad position. He can't actually do the Governor job and take a year off to campaign. Republicans would end up voting for him in the general election but they will not vote for him in the primary.

Trump lost and did not concede. Trump encouraged insurrection.
I'm pretty sure that Trump knows enough to bring guns to an insurrection. Pelosi flatly refused any National Guard presence
even though Trump encouraged her to take it. Maybe he really is as stupid as he looks if he wanted the National Guard to be there to put down any "insurrection" that might spontaneously erupt. The Democrats knew that there had been cheating and they knew there would be objections during the vote count. The FBI had numerous people in the crowd that day trying to foment insurrection. The vast majority of people ignored the rabble-rousers. There were around a million people there that day and only a few hundred people answered the call. Most of the people who entered the building that day were tourists taking selfies and they were let in, even waved in, by the Capitol guards.

Please keep in mind that even today Hillary talks about how she was cheated out of the win by the "Russians". She doesn't seem to recall that SHE hired the "Russians" to frame Trump. I'm pretty sure that there hasn't been a Republican president elected who's votes were not disputed in years. That is par for the course for the Democrats.

Trump lost and did not concede. Trump encouraged insurrection.
There was no insurrection. If you want to get into the issue of anti-government violence, all that you have to do is look at BLM and Antifa. Where they violently attacked federal buildings and historical monuments. The FBI essentially ignored them. Yet when the Republicans protest, the FBI considers that a threat. That is unequal justice. Maxine Water, a member of Congress, came very close to inciting violence by demanding that people get in the face of Republican and push them out. That is not upholding the concepts of democracy.

Democrats routinely challenge elections, so there is nothing wrong if Republicans do. Stacy Abrams as one example. Time Magazine (Feb. 4, 2021) even ran an article gloating how the left tilted the election in favor of Biden.

PS: The New York Times published an article, that is behind its paywall, "F.B.I. Had Informants in Proud Boys, Court Papers Suggest". As an alternative: Business Insider reports: "FBI may have had up to 8 informants in Proud Boys around the time of the January 6 riot, The New York Times reported". This raises the possiblity that the so-called "insurrection" was actually a false flag operation orchestrated by the Democrats.

Trump is a street fighter, but doesn't cause chaos. Noted.
He also kept Russia, China, and North Korea under control. We'll be lucky to not end up in a Nuclear war with Russia due to Biden's policies. He kept poking the bear and eventually the bear rose up. I'm not in any way excusing Russia's actions only pointing out Biden's diplomatic failures. Diplomacy "trumps" war every time. Look at the latest fiasco. Ukraine wanted more money so "military" sources said that the bombing in Poland was done by Russia. NATO countries are calling for retaliation and Biden went to Congress to demand 37 billion more dollars. And now we find out that the whole thing was a "mistake". Ukraine was the one who lobbed the missiles into Poland.

The Biden administration refuses to send an Inspector General to the Ukraine to ensure that OUR MONEY is being spent where Ukraine says it is being spent and not lining the pockets of Zalinsky and his cronies. Why did we have an Inspector General overseeing events in Iraq and Afghanistan where we were spending far less money but we don't "need" one in Ukraine? Trump was the only President in my memory who spent my money as if it were his own. Look at what he did with the Embassy in Israel. Instead of spending a billion dollars on a new building in Jerusalem, he spend 100 million to repurpose part of our consulate which was plenty large enough and safe enough to serve both functions. Then how about the deal with Boeing for the replacements for Air Force One? It is unheard of for our government to refuse to spend top dollar when they don't have to.

Which president got sanctioned by Parliament in the UK for making the world a more dangerous place? Was it the evil orange man? No, it was the drooling idiot Biden who gave the Taliban billions of dollars worth of the best military equipment my money can buy and which they are now selling off to terrorists around the globe. He could have shipped it off to Ukraine. I'm sure they would have gladly come and picked it up. Then he gave the billion dollar Bagram air base to China. What leader in their right mind evacuates the military and leaves behind civilians and materiel?

Sometimes you might want to live with a few mean tweets if it means the President actually has your back and isn't trying to sell you into slavery.

Hmm, you said all that as if it were true. No references or evidence. Just hearsay, gossip, speculation or fantasy. The American dream.
Don't stress, your hearthrob will get in, then you can moan on about his corrupt administration.

Hmm, you said all that as if it were true.
Because it is.

Did Russia invade Ukraine while Trump was President? No, Putin occupied Crimea when Obama was President and then attacked again early this year once he had Biden's measure. Do I really need to provide a link or are you completely oblivious to world events?

Do you think we didn't have an Inspector General overseeing the money we were spending in the Middle East?
Here's the non-oversight of Ukraine:
Feel free to look at the other reports for the Middle East while we occupied Iraq and Afghanistan.

And this you should have seen in your local papers. I guess you never even noticed that it was YOUR Parliament that sanctioned Biden for arming the terrorists of the world with American military equipment worth over 80 billion dollars.

I won't hold my breath waiting for an apology. You have your opinion of the evil orange man and won't be swayed by facts.

What you don't understand is that in the UK, we have very little information about the intricacies and intrigue of the USA government workings. The only name we have on our TV news is Joe Biden, and that is usually showing him sleeping in meetings or stumbling over some speech. Most people in the UK don't really care about US politics. We have never heard of the names that crop up on these forums.
For example, Elon Musk, I found out it isn't a new aftershave, I thought for ages he was a politician, to be honest, he might well be.for all I know.
Basically, what I'm saying, is that outside the white picket fence around the USA, nobody seems to care about all the stuff you ramble on about.

We have a massive cost of living crisis here, we are focused on whether we can afford the heating on or eating, or can we afford petrol for the car, basic food prices are rising quickly, we have 11% inflation now, expected to increase next year to 15%. As a pensioner I have to count out my allowance and hope that I have some left over at month end, I never go out for meals, they are very expensive, I buy cheap meat cuts past their date and make stew which lasts me 2 or 3 days. I dont buy newspapers, they are too expensive. I don't have any family to help, I live alone like many pensioners, I wear a coat and blanket indoors to save on heating costs. Yes i did have money, most of that has gone as I have to pay a contribution for the care home my wife is in, that takes a good percentage of my pension. I could go on, but I know you're not interested in the slightest. Why should you be? I'm outside the USA boundary so of no interest to Americans.

You want me to apologise to you? What for? The cardinal sin of not worshipping the USA and showing interest in USA politics?. I'd rather watch paint dry.

What the UK and most of the G20 are experiencing is known as The Great Reset. Pandemics, climate change, food, and fuel are being used to rebalance the world economy.

Then don't read the posts or don't comment on things you know nothing about.
We have a massive cost of living crisis here
Our COL is not quite as high but it is a serious problem for us as well. And you can thank us for much of the problem. We are not the center of the universe but problems we cause for ourselves have a tendency to ripple out around the world. Biden ran for President promising to destroy the fossil fuel segment of the economy. AND HE DID IT!!!!!!! We are also looking at energy brownouts this winter. My grandaughter just bought a condo. They don't have natural gas in her town (the greenies prevented it) and they don't install oil tanks in condos, so she will be heating with electricity. It would have been expensive in a normal year but this year, she's looking at a thousand dollars a month for heat. I don't know where this obsession with eliminating the use of fossil fuel started but it is everywhere now. But apparently, the people pushing the elimination don't worry about what will happen until the infrastructure catches up. Our electric grid can't even support charging EV's in California during the summer if it is too warm let alone be used to heat homes. Electricity can't be stored. That is its weakness. The sun doesn't shine at night and some days the wind doesn't blow. In the winter it is overcast a lot, especially in the northern tier where you need the heat. The further electric current has to travel, the more that gets lost on the way. Looks like Germany is reverting to burning wood and coal. I think France will be OK because they didn't decommission their Nuclear plants like the rest of us did. nuclear power is the best solution in the short term but we can't use it because of the greenies.
You want me to apologise to you? What for?
For accusing me of lying. You attacked me personally ---- Hmm, you said all that as if it were true ----- we don't do that here:(

Instead of hating Donald Trump, you might want to wonder why he is so insanely popular in the US. Are we all stupid? No. The clue is that not everyone lives and dies by what FB, Twitter, and Google tell us. Although we do have some members here who have a childlike faith in "fact" checkers. You don't follow US news closely and you shouldn't have to but we have lawsuits going on because we have whistleblowers providing PROOF via emails that the Biden administration was telling FB and Twitter and Google what people and news to suppress. The Biden camp told them to suppress news regarding the Hunter Biden laptop so they did. Wouldn't that be considered election interference since Hunter is the son of one of the people running for president in 2020. The FBI had Hunter's laptop containing ample evidence, of crimes, not to mention disgusting videos of Hunter committing crimes with drugs and prostitutes at the end of 2019!!!!! Plus Hunter screwed one of his business partners out of 10 million dollars so the partner went public with his version of the influence peddling scheme. That gave the FBI both the copies of the emails on Hunter's laptop and the matching receipts on the whistleblowers system. Pretty damning evidence. It is now TWO years later, and the crack is finally widening. They can't hide the crime much longer. The Biden administration is also telling the FBI which people to prosecute - at least according to the whistleblowers from the FBI.

So far they have impeached Trump twice. Both failed for lack of substance. We had 2 other commissions that spent 2 years and MILLIONS of taxpayer dollars looking for a crime and came up empty-handed. We have the Jan 6th commission, also in its second year with no proof that Trump tried to incite insurrection. We have two lawsuits in process by the State of New York that are also looking for a crime. The FBI invaded his home in Mar-a-Largo LOOKING FOR A CRIME. This is what they do in banana republics. You torment your political opponent. Trump personally, his children, and his businesses are audited by the IRS EVERY YEAR. They find no crime.

At what point do they stop looking for a crime, any crime? Remember the saying of one of Stalin's people -- "Show me the man and I'll show you the crime". Well the Democrats are working their fingers to the bone but they can't find any crime. Don't you think that they would have found a crime by now if there was one to find? In the US we assume you are innocent until you are proven guilty unless of course you are the evil orange man. He must be guilt of something, he writes mean tweets, he calls people names, he's had 5 children by 3 wives, and we don't like his hair. However, to his credit, he does marry his baby-mommas unlike the players in the NFL and NBA. They keep score by how many children they can have out of wedlock and are quite proud to send out a Christmas card with 8 women and 8 children in the background.

I didn't mention you personally and I never called you a liar. It is possible to make comments as if they were true - or as I said, hearsay/rumour/ gossip. As there were no references where your information came from, my comment means it may be true what you said or not, who knows?

I know you hate me and want to ban me, but don't let paranoia cloud your thoughts, because it allows you to read things that aren't there.

Trump lost and did not concede. Trump encouraged insurrection.

If you really view a few hundred rogue people lightly armed, as having brought the country with the world's mightiest military literally to the brink of being overthrown, I just shake my head and wonder at that.

China declaring war on us, aided by North Korea and Russia, now that's bringing us to the brink.

I see any months-long occupancy of swaths of a major American city (Portland, etc) including total blocks of emergency vehicle and police, WITH the cooperation and sympathy of mayors and prosecutors............ as about 1000x more dangerous and closer to the brink of overthrow than a few hundred people on one given day smashing windows in an event so lightweight that the US military wasn't even involved , much less came close to being defeated.

Now, if you really want to challenge your self-honesty about this situation, do a little research on Al Sharpton's past, including the people who died as a direct result of him repeatedly inciting violence. If you know the story you then realize why conservatives anyone with any character was disgusted when Obama began having meetings with a person like this - and why the liberals still dote on him.

The truth is, people say dangerous words all the time, any of which can be used to resort to violence. The question is whether we cherry pick one of them to prosecute - and if so, why.

don't let paranoia cloud your thoughts, because it allows you to read things that aren't there.
Paranoia is an interesting thing. It is often brought about by hyper-vigilance, which leads a person to notice more things than they normally had/would. What this ends up meaning is that usually they aren't seeing or hearing things that aren't there (as others believe); rather, their brains are simply maintaining a larger inventory of things - i.e., the brain is working better and at higher volume. However, because the brain didn't always do that, it means that the question "Why is that car following me behind 3 separate turns?" will now lead to a different logical conclusion than it WOULD have IF the person had ALWAYS noticed that "many cars normally follow me behind 3 separate turns".

Thus paranoid people usually aren't imagining anything untrue. They're noticing things for the first time, and, absent a previous comparison, believe the those things are NEW to their experience, thus giving them the basis for making a conclusion that may not be best.

Most paranoia is based on a newly developed state of hyper vigilance. If the state of vigilance had remained constant over time since birth, the interpretation of events would have been different.

Hmm, you said all that as if it were true
Is a snarky remark and Implies that you think that what I said isn't true.

Do you follow every statement you make with a footnote to your source? Of course not. No one does.

Did you bother to look at my citations? Do you still think the statements are not true?

I said: 'encouraged insurrection.'

You heard:

'Lifelong Learner' in preach mode.
That's right. I heard the word insurrection, a ridiculous exaggerated term coined by a few people at the top and repeated countless times by gullible unthinking
