I think the point was that her daughter could recite the book from memory whereas most people would have to read it.

Yes, I thought of that, but surely just closing the book would have the same effect and be a whole lot easier.:rolleyes:

Oh right:rolleyes: it seems that I was confused.

Had it been an everyday US task using ones hands (like stripping a Colt 45) then I could understand the blindfold reference, it just seemed strange to mention it with a recital test thats all.
