Yeah, well, don't even think that I'll take you back. You had your chance and I've already moved on to my 'slut on the rebound' phase. I'm so over you...

Europe:

Paris

Caribbean:

Bonaire

Mexico & Canada:

US:

Las Vegas

As far as places to stay in Vegas . . . I like staying on the strip because you don't have to take as many cabs to get around. The Luxor and Rio are nice but both are at the end of the strip so you will walk alot . . . Rio is slightly off the strip so I probably wouldn't stay there again. Stayed at the Flamingo once . . . never again . . . there were stains on the carpet that I can only imagine what they were :) The hotel is old and needs major updating. I saw a TV show once on the Venetian and they claimed to have the biggest rooms because I think all of them are suites. I had friends who stayed at the Paris Hotel and said the rates were reasonable and the hotel was nice.

Make sure you go inside the casinos . . . the MGM has a really cool lion cage, Bellagio is beautiful inside with a botannical garden that they change several times a year, pirate show at Treasure Island is fun to watch (free), and the Venetian has a canal running through the middle of it.

I'm unclear what effect the blindfold has on reciting a rhyme:confused: Could you not do it any other way?

Col

I could do it in a box!
I could do it in some sox!
Could you do it in your sleep?
Or would you rather bleep bleep bleep?

I have never traveled outside the US. Not from lack of interest, just never had the opportunity. My mine goal in that regard is to visit Scotland, Ireland and England before they plant me.

Lynn,
This exactly the kind of advice I'm looking for. In fact, last night, a friend who is also meeting us in Vegas said, "It looks like the Flamingo has the best rates." So, without your warning, I would have been stuck in the Flamingo and being completely disgusted and thoroughly annoyed with my surroundings.
I appreciate your help!!!!
Tess

Maybe we'll bump into each other abroad!
